Ally Northfield

Director

Ally leads a team of revenue management specialists providing outsourced revenue management services to the hotel industry for hotels that cannot afford, or do not require the services of a full time revenue manager.

The service has an excellent track record for driving improved revenues and profitability.

Known for her ability to simplify the communication of complex business processes, Ally is the principal author of the Revenue by Design revenue management training programmes delivered through the company’s training portal, Revenue Academy. Revenue by Design’s delivery of training, outsource revenue management services and consultancy to hundreds of hotels and accommodation providers worldwide has firmly established the company as an industry leader in the provision of revenue optimising services.

Kate Ciblik

Director of Revenue

Kate brings a huge amount of hotel experience to the team, having worked in many departments including reservations, groups, and conference and events. However, revenue management is where her heart is. She excels in designing strategies based on detailed scientific trend and market analysis and is adept at managing these to navigate the often unpredictable nature of the travel industry. This is what she loves. Combining the blend of scientific analysis, with the unexpected.

She loves yoga, all types of dancing, team sports and indulges in a bit of escapism by catching up on the latest fantasy page turner. She also admits to being a bit of a ‘geeky sci-fi fan’ and can be found spending her Sundays watching the latest series of ‘Game of Thrones’.

Michelle Casey

Director of Sales and Marketing

As the only member of the team without a revenue management background, Michelle likes to think of herself as the ‘Special One’. She has spent most of the last 20 years working with hotels in various ecommerce, and sales and marketing roles – for British Airways, lastminute.com and Easyjet, among others. She loves, and is fascinated by, all things hotel related and is excited by the prospect that we are about to embark on one of the most dynamic periods in the industry.

She’s a bit of a music fan, and makes efforts to go to see music live when she can – unfortunately her music tastes have not evolved since her university days. A keen traveller, Michelle has a special love for Africa. More usually though, she can be found drinking copious amounts of coffee while listening to Radio 6. She is also a qualified coach.

Bharati Bagai

Cluster Revenue Manager

With a background in Marketing and International Finance, Bharati made the leap to the wonderful world of hospitality in 2002. Since then, she has worked in various reservations and revenue management roles for hotels including The Lowndes (where she was awarded ‘Employee of the Year’), The Arch, and The Ampersand. She joined the Revenue by Design team in 2018.

When not analysing TRevPAR, Bharati likes to turn her hand to more creative pursuits. Handicrafts, gardening, dancing,  and recycling projects – she is currently working on building a garden bench using recycled pallets. Her ideal evening would involve losing herself in one of the Harry Potter films, with a large glass of red, and a big bowl of popcorn!

Shyam Antyah

Revenue Consultant

A determined leader with expertise in hotel management and operations, revenue management, marketing, IT, reservations and concierge within the luxury hotel sector in both independent and branded properties internationally. Proven track record for managing projects, successful re-branding, product re-positioning in the local market, refurbishment, systems implementation and introduction of a customer loyalty scheme. By combining operational excellence, people management with strong financial and business management, exceptional performance is a guaranteed part of his philosophy, not an optional extra.

Shyam holds an honours degree in International Tourism and Hospitality Management awarded by the University of Sunderland in the United Kingdom. Yoga, Hiking and Alternate Music are some of his hobbies.
